ok...here comes my update abt ake
jiexi...happy with it le mah...lol
i know late by many days le la
came back from ake on sun
(ake = annual kayaking expedition)
had an enjoyable camp from fri to sun

book in on fri with syamil & wl
reach sstc at around 9+ close to 10
(sstc = sembawang sea training center)
by the time the meeting has already started
so the 3 of us just stayed with the cadets
go meeting also rot nia
so were talking some craps with my cadets
eat our supper that consist of a samosa & a bread
ate the samosa only..the bread kinda sucks
wanted to study after the cadets went to slp
but ended up talking abt ghost stories...LOL
we slept to slp at around 4am on the beach chairs
i keep waking up as usual
den i woke up at around 5am & wake the rest up
was shocked bcoz the cadets were already here liao
its kinda shit for breakfast
not bcoz its not nice...but its too little
soon the cadets launched out to begin the expedition
it also marks the start of our rotting time...hehe
we went back to slp till around 9.30
coz we have to set off for changi
so helped to load evrything up the tonner
evrything from masking tapes to our bags were loaded up

the trip to changi took abt 30mins
most of us were slping
all the work starts when we reach changi
but only me & jason went over to lunch point to help
coz there are only 2 vehicles
cpt oliver's & warrant thomas de
den the lunch point is at another side of changi beach
so after setting up the lunch point
me & jason were rotting at the beach
coz have to guide the cadets when they come back
den jason shun bian did some sun tanning...LOL
we were so bored that we ended up digging holes in the sand
it started to get real busy when all the cadets came back
have to get them to fall in den take strength
den make sure they take their lunch etc
soon they were back to sea & our rotting time starts again
we waited for the bus to come & fetch us
waited for almost 20mins...
we were den sent to cstc after that
(cstc = changi sea training center)
we were all like shocked when we reach there
its really like a resort over there
the real shock came when we enter the ncc room
its air conditioned & theres a balcony
the best of all is that its has a sea view thats is damn nice!!
all of us was taking pics madly then
after that we were rotting around in the room
jason playing with the laptop as usual

soon the cadets came back den we went down to help
have to guide them in & pull them up
evrything was settled quite quickly
den they were served their dinner followed by bathing
so rotting time again for us
syamil, wl & me just hang around & waited for the cadets
den after that the clts took turn to bathe
was kinda irritated by cadets during aar
(aar = after action review)
theres this guy that is from chua chu kang sec
he voiced out lots of opinions but mostly nothing constructive
after aar is supper den slping time for cadets
the supper is real pathetic
2 fish balls & a tiny cream cake
its damn freaking shit lor

after the cadets were asleep
the few of us decided to order our supper...MAC!!!
but it took 10 years to come
cannot blame him also...cstc is in a kinda ulu place
its damn deep inside changi
its real errie at night lor...kinda scary
we even asked the delivery man he heard anything
den also asked him was he scared
he tell us he just sped through the long stretch of road
so we wish him gd luck when he went off again...LOL
we had our supper den went to slp
by then its already 2+ in the morning le
its real cold at night & i keep waking up as usual

woke up in the morning with shity breakfast again
a pathetic hot dog bun...freak lor
after that had to load up our stuff back onto the tonner again
coz most of us are going back to sstc
me, syamil & wl took the assualt boat back to sstc
its a great experience since its my first time on an assualt
but its a long way back to sstc from changi
we took 3 hours+ to get back
it could have been faster if not for the boston whaler
(boston whaler is the name of another boat)
coz our assualt & the whaler is the first 2 boats back
den the whaler is damn bloody slow
so ended up our assualt has to go slower to wait for it
so we ended up taking a nap on the boat
evryone was damn fed up with the whaler
the saf boat driver was scolding vulgarities
den he sped off after being too fed up with waiting
nevertheless we managed to catch a few glimpse of bikini babes along the way
they were playing wake boarding

we finally reach sstc after some time
but to our horror...we were the only ncc ppl there
the worse of all is that the tonner is not even back yet!
so we were there with no food, water & money
den we jus slp on the bench while waiting for ppl to come back
some officers finally came back after some time
they gave us some can drinks & chocs
it taste so heavenly at the moment...haha
we went to wash the boats after eating
most of the clts came back when we were washing the boats
den the horror came again
the tonners that were loaded with 54 kayaks arrived
and who is supposed to wash them...its US!
so we just get on with job & got it done real fast
by then evyrone was real high le
was using the hose to spray evryone
no one is dry after the work is done
after that is photo taking time!!!
had plenty of madness after taking photo
kok teng(oic) & LTA bryan was thrown into the water
after that is finally the bathing time
went to north point altogether after that for dinner
there was around 20 ppl altogether
after finishing the few of us went back to hq for meeting
got back home at 10+
den its immediate knock out for me
totally exhausted & too tired

had a great time at this expedition
except for some little stuff which i refused to rmb...lol
wanted to thank the people from the land party
especially jiexi aka ghost aka baby...hehe
thanks for not haunting me so much during this expedition
haha...just jking la...evryone has been a great help
hope to see some of you guys around some time
wont forget you guys de!
